Trapania lineata Haefelfinger, 1960
NUDIBRANCHIA
Small doridacean nudibranch found on a black sponge. The base colour is whitish with the rear tip of the foot yellow. A pair of bright yellow tipped, recurved appendages are present lateral to the rhinophores and another pair of similarly coloured, recurved appendages are present lateral to the gills.

Propodial tentacles: Present, whitish with yellow tips, recurved.
Oral tentacles: Present, white with wide yellow band, smooth.
Rhinophores: White with yellow tips, lamellate
(10 lamellae).
Cerata: Absent.
Gills: Yellow tipped.
Foot: Colourless without any appendages.

Size range: 11mm. Very rare.

Specific characteristics: A specific character for this species is a series of white lines on the dorsal and lateral sides. Some other species (without white lines) are very difficult to distinguish and may require dissection for specific identification.
