Small sized found in shallow water on the yellow sponge Aplysina aerophoba. The body colour is an intense yellow without any markings. Rhinophores are present as a two short solid tentacles without ornamentation. Foot tentacles are present as two very short tentacles. Shell is medium sized covering most of the animal, patelliform with a raised and curved central tip, pale honey colour semitransparent but with a few black radiating lines across the surface.
Size: 11mm. Uncommon.

Specific characteristics: The patelliform shell and the intense yellow colouration are sufficient criteria to identify this species in the Mediterranean.
